Capital markets account platform

An account-management platform that a U.S. capital-markets firm depends on every working day, rebuilt from a 15-year-old VB6 and SQL Server system into modern .NET and Angular microservices behind a gateway, without pausing the business that runs on it.

I architected the modernization end to end and led full-stack delivery alongside the client's team. I built the data-access layer that lets new services work safely against the legacy data during the transition, and owned the security platform: single sign-on, token-based access with role-based permissions, rate limiting, and distributed tracing so problems surface before users notice them.
